Program Information
Unit 5 offers a fun and exciting Pre-Kindergarten program for qualifying students ages 3 to 5 (see eligibility information below). Currently, there are two sites with Early Learning classrooms: Brigham and Sugar Creek.
Classes range between 8 and 20 students per class, with at least one certified teacher and a teacher's aide.
By the 2029-2030 school year, it is the district's intention to consolidate these sites into one Early Learning Center that will serve all of Unit 5. The Board of Education approved an enrollment plan in April 2026, which allows the district to begin exploring new or renovated spaces that can serve our youngest learners in the future
